(Looks Like)Curtains - a set of paintings ongoing from 2018 which exploit printed designs on found samples of fabric. The designs all have a visual centre of natural forms. I guess I'm still in love with a combination of still life, cubist and surrealist genres. Its touch and go if either nature or human culture is destined to become a palimpsest in the cosmos. Realistically human culture and nature are parts of the same process and it's the synthetic opposition of those two that causes problems and these paintings too.
